Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Rumoro for using the service at rumoro.dev, including the dashboard, the API and the MCP server. By signing up or using Rumoro, you agree to them.
The service
Rumoro follows public posts on the platforms it covers for the keywords you choose, scores them with AI, and shows them in the dashboard, the API, your agent and the alerts you set up. Sources, check intervals and features can change as the platforms and Rumoro change.
Your account
Keep your password and API keys private: anything done with them counts as done by your workspace. Keep your account details accurate, and only sign up if you can enter into a binding contract.
Fair use
- Use Rumoro only for lawful purposes.
- Don’t resell or redistribute the collected posts as a data product; Rumoro is for your own listening and replies.
- Don’t use it to harass, expose or watch individuals, or in ways that break the rules of the platforms the posts come from.
- Don’t try to overload or disrupt the service, and stay within the documented API limits.
Posts from other platforms
Posts come from third-party platforms. We don’t own or endorse them, can’t promise they are accurate or stay available, and depend on each platform’s access and rules. AI scores are estimates and can be wrong.
YouTube results come through YouTube API Services. By using Rumoro, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Reddit posts come through Reddit’s Data API. When you use them, you also agree to follow Reddit’s User Agreement, Data API Terms and Public Content Policy. Among other things, you may not use Reddit content to train AI models, to profile individual people or target them by sensitive traits such as health, politics or religion, to combine it with other data into customer data sets, to run background checks, to track sensitive events or groups such as protests or unions, or for surveillance or law enforcement. A post deleted on Reddit is also removed from Rumoro, and an edited one is updated.
Prices and your balance
Rumoro is prepaid and priced in US dollars, with no subscription. You add between $20 and $5,000 at a time, and your balance goes down each day: $5 per keyword per month, charged a thirtieth per day, plus $0.008 per matched mention and $0.008 per new review, whether or not a post is scored relevant. Posts that can’t be scored are free. Current prices are on the homepage, and unused credit remains available.
New accounts receive a one-time welcome credit, once per person, which we may change or end for new sign-ups. Polar processes payments as merchant of record and adds any tax when you pay; Polar’s own terms cover the payment itself. Unless the law says otherwise, top-ups can’t be refunded, and credit can only be spent inside Rumoro. If the balance can’t pay for another day, collection stops until you top up; your keywords, posts and alerts stay. Prices for future usage can change, and we’ll tell you beforehand; usage is always charged at the price that applied when it happened.
Your data and ours
You own your settings and the data you add, and you allow us to use them to run the service for you. We own Rumoro, its software and its brand. We may learn from anonymised, combined usage figures to make Rumoro better.
No guarantees
Rumoro comes as it is and when it is available. We can’t promise that it finds every relevant post, that its scores are right, or that it never goes down or makes mistakes.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and the most we owe for any claim is the amount you paid Rumoro during the 12 months leading up to it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending
You can stop whenever you like. A paused or deleted keyword is no longer charged from the following day, and what’s left on your balance stays yours to use, as described under refunds. If an account breaks these terms or endangers the service, we may suspend or close it, and we’ll warn you first when we reasonably can.
Changes and governing law
These terms can change. We’ll point out important changes in the product or by email, and continuing to use Rumoro afterwards counts as accepting them. These terms are governed by the law of Austria, and disputes go to the courts of Vienna, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
