# Rumoro > Social listening tool and API for AI agents. Rumoro follows 16 sources for mentions of a product, its competitors and topics, scores each post from 0 to 100 against the company's own description, sets aside the noise and delivers the rest to Slack, Telegram, email, webhooks or an AI agent over MCP. Founded: September 2026 Pricing model: prepaid usage, no subscription and no seats Contact: markus@rumoro.dev ## How it works - Add a keyword (a product, a competitor or a topic) in the dashboard or with one API call, and choose its sources. - Required words, excluded words and muted authors are checked on every post; a post they reject is never stored or billed. - Each match is scored from 0 to 100 against the company's description and tagged with sentiment and intent (buying intent, question, comparison, bug report, churn, praise). - Alert rules send matches to Slack, Telegram, email or signed webhooks, instantly or as daily or weekly digests. Agents read the same mentions over MCP or the REST API. - Rumoro never posts, comments or replies on any platform. An agent can draft a reply for a person to send. ## Connect - MCP server: https://mcp.rumoro.dev/mcp (55 tools; sign in once in the browser, no API key needed) - Agent guide: https://mcp.rumoro.dev/mcp/guide - REST API: https://api.rumoro.dev/v1 (OpenAPI at https://api.rumoro.dev/v1/openapi.json, 600 requests per minute per workspace) ## Sources - Reddit: posts, checked every 30 minutes - X (Twitter): posts and replies, checked every hour - Hacker News: stories and comments, checked every 5 minutes - GitHub: issues and pull requests, checked every 15 minutes - Bluesky: posts, checked in seconds - LinkedIn: public posts, checked every 3 hours - TikTok: videos, checked every 3 hours - Instagram: posts and reels, checked every 6 hours - Stack Overflow: questions and answers, checked every hour - DEV: articles, checked every hour - YouTube: videos, checked twice a day - News: web articles, checked every 15 minutes - App Store: reviews of your apps, checked once a day - Google Play: reviews of your apps, checked once a day - Trustpilot: reviews of your pages, checked once a day - Google reviews: reviews of your places, checked once a day ## What each source covers, and what it doesn't - X (Twitter): posts, replies and quote posts; reposts are skipped. - Reddit: post titles and text in every subreddit; comments aren't read. - Hacker News: stories and comments, exact spelling only. - GitHub: titles and descriptions of issues and pull requests in public repositories; comments and code aren't read. - Bluesky: every public post from the live stream, replies with the post they answer; reposts are skipped. - LinkedIn: public posts, reposts counted as posts; comments and reactions aren't collected. - TikTok: captions and hashtags, with views, likes, shares and saves; spoken words, on-screen text and comments aren't read. - Instagram: captions, hashtags and search snippets of posts and reels, tagged or not; Stories, comments and text inside images aren't read. - DEV: titles, summaries and tags of new articles; article bodies and comments aren't read. - YouTube: titles and full descriptions with their links; comments and transcripts aren't read. ## Pricing - $5 per keyword per month, charged daily from a prepaid balance - $0.008 per matched mention; $0.008 per new review - $5.80 of free credit to start, once per person; no subscription - Top-ups from $20 to $5,000; example: 8 keywords and 2,000 mentions cost $56.00 a month ## Links - Homepage: https://rumoro.dev/ - Pricing: https://rumoro.dev/pricing - X (Twitter) monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/x - Reddit monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/reddit - Hacker News monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/hacker-news - GitHub monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/github - Bluesky monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/bluesky - LinkedIn monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/linkedin - TikTok monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/tiktok - DEV.to monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/dev - Instagram monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/instagram - YouTube monitoring: https://rumoro.dev/youtube - F5Bot alternative (F5Bot and Rumoro compared): https://rumoro.dev/alternatives/f5bot - GummySearch alternative (moving Reddit keyword tracking before GummySearch shuts down): https://rumoro.dev/alternatives/gummysearch - Octolens alternative (Octolens and Rumoro compared, and the Octolens-compatible API): https://rumoro.dev/alternatives/octolens - Brand24 alternative (Brand24 and Rumoro compared, for developers and AI agents): https://rumoro.dev/alternatives/brand24 - Google Alerts alternative (Google Alerts and Rumoro compared: social sources, Slack alerts and an API): https://rumoro.dev/alternatives/google-alerts - Rumoro in AI agents (the MCP server and a setup guide for each agent): https://rumoro.dev/agents (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/agents.md) - Rumoro in Claude Code (MCP setup): https://rumoro.dev/claude (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/claude.md) - Rumoro in Codex (MCP setup): https://rumoro.dev/codex (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/codex.md) - Rumoro in Cursor (MCP setup): https://rumoro.dev/cursor (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/cursor.md) - Rumoro in Grok (MCP connector setup): https://rumoro.dev/grok (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/grok.md) - Rumoro in Hermes Agent (MCP setup): https://rumoro.dev/hermes (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/hermes.md) - Rumoro in OpenClaw (MCP and skill setup): https://rumoro.dev/openclaw (Markdown: https://rumoro.dev/openclaw.md) - About: https://rumoro.dev/about - Blog: https://rumoro.dev/blog - Reddit API pricing, limits and access in 2026: https://rumoro.dev/blog/reddit-api - Contact: https://rumoro.dev/contact - Privacy: https://rumoro.dev/privacy - Terms: https://rumoro.dev/terms
