Captions and hashtags, tagged or not. For a reel, often what is said too.
A one-word keyword's hashtag every 6 hours, and captions searched twice a day.
You don't connect an Instagram account, a business account or a Meta app.
A new keyword reads back the newest 10 from the last 10 days straight away.
How it works
Set up a keyword in the dashboard or through the API. Recent posts from the past ten days show up first, then new ones arrive as Instagram's search finds them.

#juniper type=recent
site:instagram.com "Juniper" past dayThe hashtag’s newest posts every 6 hours and captions twice a day, tagged or not, each match scored against how you describe your company.
Give every alert its own relevance bar and pick the intents that get through, from praise and questions to comparisons, bug reports, churn and buying intent. Matches go to Slack, Telegram, email, a webhook or your agent.
Instagram alerts
Pick a recipe to see what to follow, how Instagram is searched for it and the alert your team gets.
Search or monitor
Instagram has no search by caption words you can build on. What differs is who keeps looking, what counts as a match and whose account is involved.
Graph API limits from Meta’s Instagram Platform documentation, September 2026.
What you get
Enough to know what was said, by whom and how people reacted, and plainly what isn't read.
The caption with its hashtags, the search snippet when it adds something (for a reel, often what is said), the link and when it was posted.
Username, name and avatar, linked to their profile, with every other post they made about you. Follower counts aren't collected.
Likes and comments as Instagram showed them when the post was found. Likes stay empty where the author hides them.
Stories, comments under a post and text inside images. Rumoro reads captions, hashtags and what search shows of a post.
Beyond alerts
See your share of the conversation, the creators having it and which posts deserve your time.
Track competitors next to yourself and see who Instagram talks about more, week by week.
Each creator who mentions you becomes a person with your tags and notes and every post or reel they made about you.
Likes and comments arrive with each post and reel, so you can answer the one people are actually reacting to.
Giveaway accounts, repost pages and other automated accounts are flagged, so one filter keeps them out of your alerts.
Find out which keywords bring creators talking about you and which mostly bring gin, gardens and other namesakes, with exclusions suggested.
Every hour Rumoro looks for a jump in mentions, a run of unhappy posts, a keyword gone noisy or a delivery channel that failed.
Quieter keywords can arrive as one daily or weekly round-up in Slack, Telegram or email.
Narrow the feed to a sentiment, intent or creator, keep it as a saved view and export it to CSV, likes and comments included.
MCP, API, SDKs and CLI
Rumoro's MCP server gives Claude, Cursor or Codex the public posts and reels that name you, with likes and comments. Your agent picks the ones worth a reply and drafts it for you to check.

Add your brand or product name as a keyword. Rumoro reads the newest posts under its hashtag up to four times a day and searches captions twice a day, tagged or not, then scores each post or reel for relevance, sentiment and intent and sends the ones that matter to Slack, Telegram, email, a webhook or your AI agent.
Instagram notifications show you @mentions and tags of your own account, and so does your activity feed. A post that names your product without tagging you never shows up there, and most people don't tag. Rumoro looks for the name itself, in captions and under its hashtag.
Only partly. The Instagram Graph API needs a Business or Creator account and an app that Meta has reviewed. Its hashtag search covers at most 30 hashtags a week and only media from the last 24 hours, and there is no search by the words in a caption. Rumoro uses public web search and a data provider instead.
Yes, within its limits. You need a Business or Creator account, Meta's app review for public content access and a hashtag ID per tag, and each account can query 30 unique hashtags in a rolling week. It only sees posts that carry the hashtag.
No. You don't run a scraper, rotate accounts or install an extension. Rumoro reads public posts through web search and a data provider, keeps the ones that name you and sends them on.
Yes. Captions are searched twice a day for the words themselves, so a post that names your product without the hashtag still arrives. One-word keywords also get their hashtag read, which catches tagged posts sooner.
Yes. Reels are found like posts, through their caption, their hashtags and the snippet search shows for them, which for a reel is often what is said in it.
No. Stories disappear after a day and aren't searchable, and comments under a post aren't read. Rumoro reads captions, hashtags and what search shows of a post or reel.
A one-word keyword's hashtag is read every 6 hours, and captions are searched twice a day, because a post reaches search a few hours after it goes up. A keyword that keeps finding nothing slows to about once a day and speeds up again with its first new post.
Yes, ten days back. A new keyword starts with the newest 10 from the last 10 days, which land in the feed and the next digest rather than as instant alerts.
Use Instagram's tag search. Type the hashtag into search, switch to Tags and open its page, where top posts come first. You can follow one hashtag at a time that way. Rumoro follows the hashtags of all your one-word keywords and their captions at once, and sends only the posts that matter.
For mentions, yes. Most Instagram trackers follow one account's followers or unfollowers. Rumoro tracks every new post and reel that names your brand or a competitor, from any account, with its likes and comments.
Yes. After a one-time Slack connection, every alert rule drops its matching posts and reels into a channel. Each message carries the caption, the author, likes and comments, the AI relevance score, a one-line reason and buttons to open the post, mark it handled or mute the creator.
No. You don't connect Instagram, set up a Business account or create a Meta app, and nothing is posted or liked in your name.
Rumoro's MCP server works as one. Many Instagram MCP servers act on your own Business account through the Graph API. Rumoro's gives Claude, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client the public posts that name you, next to every other platform, without your Instagram login.
Instagram costs the same as every other source, $5 a keyword a month plus $0.008 for each post or reel that matches. A new account gets $5.80 of credit without a card, which covers a first keyword for a month and 100 matches, and there's no subscription to cancel.
